REIMBURSEMENT OF REGISTRATION CHARGES FOR STATUTORY COMPLIANCES IN

 

BUYER COUNTRY FOR CHEMICALS/ AGROCHEMICALS AND COSMETICS PRODUCTS

Dear Members,

 

The Council has received communication from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry in which the below rules of the MAI Guidelines and General Financial Rules (GFR) has been informed as below :

    2. As per para 6.2 of the Guidelines for funding under the MAI Scheme, the claim form should be submitted to EPC within 90 days of receipt of the product certificate. (This rule is in effect from 16th Feb 2018)

    4. As per rule 230(15) of the General Financial Rules, 2017, grants-in-aid may be sanctioned to the expenditure incurred not earlier than two years prior to the date of issue of the sanction.

 

In view of the above, all the members who have registered their substances abroad for meeting the statutory requirements (e.g. REACH) are requested to comply with the above rules and submit their claims for reimbursement of 50% of the registration charges to the Council accordingly.

 

The claims that are not in lines with the above rules are likely to be rejected.
