Release of Handbook on India's Strategic Trade Control System by DGFT. : Regarding

We are pleased to inform you that the first National Conference on Strategic Trade Controls (NCSTC) as held on 30th January 2024, in New Delhi.

 

This event was jointly hosted by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) and the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), in order to focus on promoting understanding and collaboration regarding the export of dual-use items. A Handbook on India's Strategic Trade Control System has been released during this conference.

 

The handbook contains important information on:

 

  • India's Export Control/SCOMET Licensing Procedure and Regulatory Framework.

  • Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on various SCOMET Policies and General Authorizations

 

This handbook will be important for any organization involved in the export of dual-use items. It will help them to navigate the India's strategic trade management and ensures compliance with regulations.
