Request for Information on Issues Related to
Trade and Export Controls in China

Dear Member,
Greetings from CHEMEXCIL.
We would like to bring to your attention that the industry is currently experiencing certain challenges related to trade and exports from China. These may include delays or difficulties in obtaining licences/approvals under export control orders, supply chain constraints, restrictions affecting access to technology and other dual-use or critical items, as well as any recent or proposed changes in Chinese trade policies that may adversely impact Indian industry.
In this regard, we kindly request all members to share details of any such issues your organisation is facing, using the attached template.
The information provided will assist the Council in understanding the challenges the industry is encountering and in appropriately taking up the matter with the concerned authorities, wherever required.
We would be grateful if the completed template could be shared with our colleague, Mr. Akshay Belwalkar, at akshay@chemexcil.in, by 16th August 2026.
