Request for Inputs on interest rates charged by Banks on the Pre-Shipment and
Post-Shipment credit

Dear Members,
The Council is in receipt of a communication from the Trade Finance Division, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry regarding a meeting held on 10th July 2025 between the Hon’ble Commerce & Industry Minister and the heads of PSU Banks, ECGC etc.
Various issues related to trade finance and insurance were discussed during the meeting.
In view of the above, members are requested to provide their inputs in the attached format regarding the interest rates charged by Banks on the Pre-Shipment and Post-Shipment credit.
