Request for Inputs on Issues Faced in Utilization of India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA)

 

Dear Member,

Greetings from CHEMEXCIL!

The Department of Commerce, Government of India, is likely to convene a meeting of the FTA Monitoring Committee shortly to discuss the issues being faced by exporters in the utilization of various Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).

In this connection, the Department has requested CHEMEXCIL to compile and submit industry feedback on issues faced by exporters in relation to the India–EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA), along with suitable suggestions for resolving the same.

The India–EFTA TEPA is the Free Trade Agreement between India and the four member countries of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), namely:

  • Iceland
  • Liechtenstein
  • Norway
  • Switzerland

Members exporting to or intending to export to these countries are requested to share any issues faced in availing the benefits of the Agreement, along with suggestions for addressing the same, in the format below:
