Request for Urgent Inputs – 3rd Session of India–Norway Dialogue on Trade and Investment (DTI)

Dear Members,
Greetings from CHEMEXCIL!
CHEMEXCIL is in receipt of a communication from the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India informing that the 3rd Session of the India–Norway Dialogue on Trade and Investment (DTI) is scheduled to be held in April 2026 at New Delhi.
In this connection, the Department has sought inputs on matters that may be taken up during the forthcoming Dialogue for enhancing bilateral trade and investment between India and Norway.
Members are therefore requested to kindly provide inputs on the following:

New areas/issues considered important for taking up bilaterally with Norway for enhancing bilateral trade and investment.

Updates on any ongoing/past collaborations, Joint Working Groups (JWGs), MoUs or partnerships with Norway.

Any intervention required at the level of the Department of Commerce under the current areas of cooperation/partnership/JWGs/MoUs for facilitating investment and cooperation and/or addressing any trade barriers.
Members having any inputs/suggestions on the above issues are requested to kindly share the same with the Council at shalini@chemexcil.in with a copy to dg@chemexcil.in and ed@chemexcil.in latest by 17th March 2026 to enable us to compile and forward the same to the Department of Commerce.
This may kindly be treated as URGENT.
