Seeking Inputs on Export-Related Issues and Bottlenecks in Maharashtra

Dear Members,

The Directorate of Industries, Government of Maharashtra, is undertaking a structured data collection exercise through Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) to identify key issues and bottlenecks affecting exports from the State.

The inputs received will be deliberated upon during the forthcoming Maharashtra Export Promotion Council (MEPC) Meeting, which will be chaired by the Hon’ble Minister (Industries), Principal Secretary (Industries), and Development Commissioner (Industries), Government of Maharashtra.

In this regard, the Directorate of Industries has requested exporters to provide detailed feedback on challenges faced in carrying out export activities from Maharashtra. The information collected will assist the Government in formulating appropriate policy interventions and support measures to enhance the State’s export competitiveness.

Members are requested to kindly share their views and suggestions in the attached template and send it to amrita@chemexcil.in and with a copy to shobitha@chemexcil.in . Members are encouraged to provide specific details regarding infrastructure, logistics, regulatory compliances, customs procedures, port connectivity, taxation, financing, skill availability, market access, or any other export-related challenges affecting their business operations.

Your valuable feedback will help CHEMEXCIL effectively represent the concerns of the chemical and allied sectors before the Government of Maharashtra.

We look forward to your active participation and cooperation.

Regards,

Vishal S. Ganju

Executive Director
