There are many substances which become hazardous due to their inherent nature and or properties. For examples chemicals like acid reacts with alkali and thus cause explosion or fire. Some substances are toxic or poisonous. When Transporting such goods they create risk to people, health, property and environment.
The objective of this seminar is to create awareness among all concerned in the risks involved and detailed understanding for safe carriage of dangerous goods while facilitating the free unrestricted movement of such goods and preventing pollution to the environment.
With the above objective CHEMEXCIL in association with Vatva Industries Association is organising a seminar on “TRANSPORTING DANGEROUS GOODS- THE CHALLENGES AND THE NEED FOR MANAGING THEM” on 24th May, at Vatva Industries Association from 1100 Hrs.
The Key Speaker for the seminar would be Mr. Radharamanan Panicker, Managing Director, Dangerous Goods Management India Pvt Ltd. Mr. Panicker is one of the most experienced personalities in the air cargo industry. Having worked in Marine Cargo inspection, Express cargo and Air cargo handling and warehousing, he has in-depth knowledge of the subject.
Further, guest speaker from Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) may also be present during the seminar and shall interact with the participants.
