The Council has received information from M/s.APJ-SLG Law Office, New Delhi regarding TBT Notification No. G/TBT/N/JPN/s13 dated 22 nd January, 2016. This regulation is with regard to CHEMICALS.

HS CODE

The HS Code for the products comes under chapter 28,29 & 33.

Description of content:

Proposed :SheteiYakubutsu” (designated 3 substances) and their “proper uses” designted under the Act.

The proposed substances which are classified as designated substances will be banned from manufacturing, import and sale in Japan. The substances are as follows:

1.2-(2,5-Dimethoxy-4-methylphenyl)ethanamine(2C-D)

2.2-{[Bis(4-fluorophenyl)methyl]sulfinyl}-N-methylacetamide (Modafiendz,N -Methyl-4,4-difluoro-modafinil)

3.1-Methoxy-3,3-dimethyl-1-oxobutan-2-yl1-(cyclohexylmethyl)-1Hindazole-3-carboxylate (MO-CHMINACA)

Notification issued Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Japan alongwith regulation is attached herewith for your perusal.

Relevant members are requested to send their comments to the Council so that same could be submitted to M/s.APJ-SLG Law Office, New Delhi for further action.
