Upgradation of India-Korea CEPA- comments on Korean request list of 745 tariff lines for concessions- regarding

Dear Members,
Council has received communication from Director, Govt of India, , Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers , , New Delhi informing that two rounds of negotiations for upgrading India-Korea CEPA have already been taken place and next round of negotiations is likely to be held in May, 2017.
Korea has requested tariff concessions of 745 items under India-Korea CEPA.The list of items coming under the purview of the Council is attached herewith .
Members are requested to kindly send comments/views which need to be taken up with the Korean side during the negotiations at the earliest (by 8th May, 2017) on our email id’s Deepak.gupta@chemexcil.gov.in and balani.lic@chemexcil.gov.in.
