Request for inputs on details of Levies/taxes other than MFN imposed by ASEAN Countries on Indian Chemical Imports: Regarding

 

Dear Members,

CHEMEXCIL is in receipt of communication from Department of Commerce, ASEAN division on above subject.

As you are aware that India has a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)

In this regards we request members to provide the inputs on following with regards to exports of Chemicals to these countries.

  • The various levies/charges/taxes other than the MFN

  • Basic Custom Duty that (are being) imposed by ASEAN Member countries on Chemical import from India.  

It is requested to provide the information, if any, along with details so that department can examine impact of such measures on the competitiveness of Chemical Industry.

You are requested to share specific details of these levies/taxes other than MFN on ad.del@chemexcil.in with copy to pw@chemexcil.in by 10.07.2025
