Dear Member,

Greetings from CHEMEXCIL!

We are pleased to inform you that CHEMEXCIL is presently in discussions with the Government regarding the development of shared overseas warehousing and fulfilment facilities for Indian chemical exporters under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM).

This is with reference to the “Facilitating Logistics, Overseas Warehousing & Fulfilment” intervention under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM), notified vide Trade Notice No. 28/2025-26 dated 20.02.2026 by the Department of Commerce.

The initiative aims to strengthen India’s export competitiveness by facilitating storage, distribution, and faster delivery of Indian products in key overseas markets through shared warehousing arrangements.

In this regard, members are requested to kindly provide their valuable feedback, suggestions, and proposal ideas on potential overseas markets/geographies where they would be interested in storing/keeping their goods under such shared warehousing facilities.

Members may also kindly share the following details:

• Potential overseas markets/geographies of interest
• Product categories proposed to be stored/exported
• Estimated storage/utilisation requirements
• Specific market access or logistical challenges faced in the region
• Suggestions regarding warehousing/fulfilment models and distribution mechanisms

Other detailed inputs, if any, can be also submitted at ed@chemexcil.in with a copy to ad.del@chemexcil.in.

The feedback received from members will assist CHEMEXCIL in taking up the matter with the Government and identifying suitable overseas markets and operational models for the chemical sector.

In view of the importance and urgency of the matter, members are requested to kindly share their inputs at the earliest.
