URGENT: Request for Inputs for India-BLEU Joint Economic Commission (JEC)

Dear Member,
Greetings from CHEMEXCIL!
It is informed that the 19th Session of the India–BLEU Joint Economic Commission (JEC) is scheduled to be held in November 2026.
The Agreed Minutes of the 18th Session of the India–BLEU Joint Economic Commission (JEC) are enclosed herewith for your reference and perusal.
In this regard, members are requested to provide new issues, specific proposals and possible deliverables, including any concrete projects or areas of cooperation, that may be considered for discussion and/or taken up during the forthcoming 19th Session of the India–BLEU JEC.
Members are particularly requested to share specific and actionable inputs, wherever applicable, supported by relevant trade data, examples, business cases or specific industry instances, including details of:

Market access issues and trade barriers faced in Belgium and Luxembourg

Specific SPS/TBT or other regulatory issues affecting exports;

Tariff and non-tariff barriers;
-
Product-specific export opportunities and potential areas for market expansion;

Suggestions for improving bilateral trade and economic cooperation;
-
Proposed areas/projects for collaboration with BLEU countries; and
-
Any other specific issue or proposal that may merit consideration at the JEC.
Members are requested to kindly share their inputs at the earliest, preferably by 31st August 2026, to facilitate timely consolidation and consideration for inclusion in the agenda of the forthcoming Session of the India–BLEU JEC.
