URGENT: Request for Inputs for the 13th Session of India–Spain Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation (JCEC)

Dear Member,

CHEMEXCIL is invited to the communication received from the Department of Commerce regarding the forthcoming 13th Session of the India–Spain Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation (JCEC), which is likely to be held in November 2026.

In this context, CHEMEXCIL invites its members to kindly provide their valuable inputs on the following areas:

I. Opportunities for increasing and diversifying bilateral trade relations between India and Spain,

 (Including potential products, sectors and areas of cooperation where India can enhance its exports to Spain)

II. Market access limitations and other obstacles to bilateral trade and investment, 

(Including tariff and non-tariff barriers, regulatory requirements, standards, certifications, customs procedures or any other challenges faced by Indian exporters, along with specific suggestions/solutions to address such issues)

III. Other matters of mutual interest and benefit, 

(Including opportunities for broader economic cooperation, investment, technology collaboration, joint ventures and other areas that may contribute to strengthening India–Spain economic relations)

Members are requested to kindly share specific and actionable inputs, particularly those supported by relevant examples, data or industry instances, at the earliest, preferably by 30th August 2026, at the following email IDs:  ad.del@chemexcil.in and amrita@chemexcil.in with copy to ed@chemexcil.in.

Your valuable inputs will enable CHEMEXCIL to appropriately represent the concerns, suggestions and interests of the industry before the Department of Commerce.
