URGENT: Request to Share Inputs on India–US Trade Performance and Recent Bilateral Trade Developments

 

Dear Member,

Greetings from CHEMEXCIL!

CHEMEXCIL is in receipt of communication from The Department of Commerce regarding review and discussion on the India–US trade performance and recent developments in bilateral trade.

The meeting will cover recent trade trends and the overall sector-wise performance of India–US trade, including key developments affecting India’s exports to the United States.

In this regard, CHEMEXCIL members are requested to kindly share their inputs on the following aspects, wherever relevant:

  • Recent trends in exports to the USA and the overall business environment.

·         Sector/commodity-wise export trend and major changes observed.         

  • Key challenges being faced by exporters in the US market.
  • Any tariff, non-tariff, regulatory, standards or compliance-related issues.
  • Issues relating to market access, competitiveness and logistics.
  • Impact of recent bilateral trade developments on exports.
  • Suggestions/measures that may help enhance India’s exports to the USA.

Members are requested to kindly share their inputs at the earliest, preferably by 30th August 2026, at the following email IDs:  ad.del@chemexcil.in and amrita@chemexcil.in with copy to ed@chemexcil.in

The inputs received, will help CHEMEXCIL in appropriately representing the industry’s concerns and suggestions before the concerned Department.
