V.Urgent: Submission of Shipment Details for Exports to the United Kingdom under the India–UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA)

Dear Member,
This is to inform that the India–UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) is scheduled to come into force on 15th July 2026.
The Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, has requested to compile details of export consignments that are likely to be shipped on the date of entry into force of the Agreement, i.e., 15th July 2026, so as to showcase the immediate benefits and trade opportunities arising from the implementation of the India–UK CETA.
In this regard, members exporting to the United Kingdom are requested to share details of shipments(along with relevant exporters details) planned for dispatch on or around 15th July 2026, including the following information:
• Name of Exporter
• State
• Product Description
• HS Code
• Quantity of Export
• Export Value
• Port of Shipment / Destination Port in the UK
• Expected Date of Shipment
Members are requested to submit the above details to ed@chemexcil.in with a copy to ad.del@chemexcil.in, amrita@chemexcil.in and shalini@chemexcil.in by 04:00 PM on 26th June 2026 positively, to enable consolidation and onward submission to the Department within the stipulated timeline.
Members are requested to treat this matter as VERY URGENT and accord it the highest priority.
