Validity of Status Holder Certificate: Regarding

Dear Sir/Madam
We wish to bring to your kind notice that as per FTP, Hand book of Procedure para no 1.09 (a) “Any Status Certificate issued under FTP 2015-20 to an IEC Holder shall remain valid only till 30.09.2023”
In view of above please note the following provisions:

All Status Holder Certificate (one/two/three/four/five) irrespective of date of issue if issued under FTP 2015-20 (i.e. prior to 01.04.2023) having any validity date would have been remain valid only till 30.09.2023 . Thus, from 01.10.2023 the said status holder certificate would remain not valid.

Exporters are required to apply online for fresh certificate as per the criteria under FTP 2023 as per revised requirement under the new FTP.

Exporters can only be able to enjoy the Status Holder Certificate benefit once the new valid certificate is issued.

Status Holder Certificate issued on / after 01.04.2023 under FTP 2023 will not be affected by the said provision.
All members are requested to take the note of this change and act accordingly.
