VIDEO CONFERENCE WITH INDIAN MISSIONS IN CIS REGION
ON IMPORTANT EXPORT SECTORS
WITH TARGETED CIS COUNTRIES WITH EXPORT POTENTIAL
|
Dear Sir/Madam,
Greetings from CHEMEXCIL!
As we all know that the because of COVID-19 pandemic there has been severe impact on the exports. With the ongoing efforts from the Government and the EPC’s in order to explore the opportunities and export potential in the CIS Region. Hon'ble Commerce and Industry Minister has mandated and facilitated for the VCs with Indian Missions in CIS Region and Export Promotion Councils/Commodity Boards on important export sectors with targeted CIS countries with export potential.
Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was established in 1991 to ensure continued cooperation in trade and military policy and recognition of borders between the States which formed part of the erstwhile USSR (except Baltic States). Russian Federation, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan are the members of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan fall in Asia and are commonly known as Central Asian Republics (CAR). Relations between India and countries of the CIS Region have remained close and cordial since the Soviet era. However, bilateral trade and commercial relations are still to achieve its true potential.
In view of the above we would request you to send your trade related issues being faced in respective countries in the attached excel format and share it before 12th April, 2021 on rd.ahd@chemexcil.gov.in;robengaluru@chemexcil.gov.in with copy to pwdd@chemexcil.gov.in & deepak.gupta@chemexcil.gov.in.
This will enable us to discuss these issues with the Indian Missions and other authorities during the VC.
Thanking you
Yours faithfully,
Deepak Gupta
