Dear Sir/Madam,
CHEMEXCIL is in receipt of communication from FT(ASEAN) Division, Department of Commerce, Govt. of India informing that India and ASEAN have initiated negotiations for review of ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA), signed in August 2009.
In the above context, a stakeholder consultation has been scheduled under the chairmanship of senior officials of Department of Commerce on 06th June 2024 at 2.30 PM in Conference Room No. 29, Vanijya Bhawan for the discussion on

Tariff liberalization to be sought in Chemical product sector from ASEAN countries

Any other related issues.
CHEMEXCIL secretariat will attend this meeting to deliberate on this subject along with interested representatives from major Chemical Industries interested in ASEAN markets for participating in the discussion.
