DGFT Simplifies EODC Application Process for Deemed Exports (Revision in Para 2(b) of the ‘Guidelines For Applicants’ under ANF-4F of Handbook of Procedures 2023.)

Dear Sir/Madam

O/o DGFT has issued a Public Notice No. 09/2024 dated 06th June, 2024 on simplification of EODC application process for Deemed Exports.

As per the said notice exporters can submit system generated GST e-Invoices and e-way bills in most of cases. This applies to situations where goods are supplied domestically but are considered exports for regulatory purposes. Previously, applicants needed to provide various documents

If system generated GST e-Invoices and e-way bills are unavailable, a certified invoice or statement from the GST authorities is can be submitted.

This change reduces the paperwork by simplifying the EODC application process.
