Dear Sir/Madam,

CHEMEXCIL is in receipt of communication from the Department on above subject.

There is an upcoming Joint Committee (JC) meeting under the India-Malaysia Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (IM-CECA).

This meeting is an important opportunity for both the countries to review and enhance bilateral trade and investment relations, and to address any issues that may impact economic interests of the countries.

In view of above member are requested to share their inputs with regards to Indian Chemical Trade with Malaysia under India-Malaysia Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement with regards to following pointers.

    • Tariff Issues

    • Non-Tariff Barriers

    • PSRs

    • Regulatory issues

    • Trade Facilitation: (Simplification of Customs Procedures, Harmonization of Standards, etc.)
