"URGENT: India's Request List shared with Korea under IKCEPA upgrade negotiations”

Greetings from Chemexcil!

We wish to inform you that the 11th round of India-Korea Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) upgrade negotiations is scheduled to be held from 17th to 19th July 2024.

In view of above Department has suggested to thoroughly review the attached request list and provide any alterations, additions, or deletions for desired tariff lines. This is an important step for Indian Government to ensure that all necessary inputs are included before the final negotiations.

Member companies are requested to go through this list and share their inputs on their desired tariff lines.  Moreover, you may also suggest any additional tariff concessions to be sought from Korea to be considered for inclusion in India’s Request List.

Furthermore, member companies are also requested to share the SPS and TBT related issues being faced while exporting to South Korea
