Dear Members

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with the Centre for WTO Studies (CWS) is organizing a Capacity Building Session on Maximizing Business Opportunities through Free Trade Agreements on 16th October 2024 at the Marriot Hotel, Indore.

This capacity building session has been organized to facilitate better understanding of the provisions of the FTAs in goods, services and investments.

The session will facilitate better understanding of the fundamentals of FTAs like Tariffs, Non-Tariff Barriers, Rules of origin, Trade Facilitation and Customs Procedures etc. and its significance for large and Small and Medium Enterprises.

It will equip for easy access to FTA-related documents, tools and techniques, tariff analysis, compliance with international standards, etc. It will facilitate better utilization of the existing FTAs and reap the benefits from preferential liberalization and advice on the importance of industry participation in the stakeholder consultations to provide better inputs and suggestions to the policy makers.
