Dear Members,
The Council is in receipt of a communication from the Embassy of India in Türkiye regarding an upcoming Buyer-Seller Meet and Chemical Industry Business Seminar organized by the Consulate General of India in Istanbul, Türkiye from March 25-27, 2025.

This event aims to explore opportunities for expanding India's market share in the Chemical, Dyes, Cosmetics, and Essential Oil sectors. Given the price-sensitive nature of the Turkish economy and the continuous rise in minimum wages impacting costs, there is a potential to strengthen India's presence by offering competitive alternatives to existing suppliers.

Additionally, the seminar will focus on sustainability trends in Istanbul and how India's chemical industry aligns with global standards in the context of climate change commitments.

The Consulate will also be inviting various industry associations, trade organizations, and key stakeholders from the chemical sector to participate in the event. This gathering will serve as a valuable platform for fostering collaboration, strengthening business ties, and facilitating knowledge exchange among industry leaders like BASF, policymakers, and investors. Through panel discussions, networking sessions, and interactive forums, participants will have the opportunity to explore potential partnerships, discuss market trends, and address challenges facing the sector.

We would like to inform our members that organization of BSM, Seminar. Etc. will be organized by our Mission in Istanbul, Türkiye. Council would definitely try to get MAI assistance for this event for our members. However, this cannot be assured at this juncture.
