Greetings from CHEMEXCIL!
We are pleased to inform you that the India–United Kingdom Free Trade Agreement (India–UK FTA) was officially signed on 24th July 2025 in London by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and UK Prime Minister Mr. Keir Starmer.
This historic agreement is a major milestone in strengthening bilateral trade and investment between the two nations and holds significant potential for the Indian Chemical Industry, which stands to benefit immensely from the preferential market access granted under this FTA.
CHEMEXCIL has already issued a detailed circular on this topic vide circular no. EPC:LIC:FTA:IND-UK:CHEM:OPP:2025-26:589 dated 25th July 2025.
In view of this important development, CHEMEXCIL in association with M/s Helpline Impex Pvt Ltd is organizing a dedicated webinar on this important topic to get more clarity on the FTA terms as per as Chemical sector is concerned.
