WEBINAR ON NIRYAT PROTHSAHAN – EXPORT CREDIT FRAMEWORK UNDER FTP 2023 |
20th JANUARY 2026 | 2:00 PM ONWARDS
|
Dear Members,
Greetings from CHEMEXCIL!
The Department of Commerce has recently launched NIRYAT PROTHSAHAN, a comprehensive Export Credit Framework under the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023, aimed at reviving and strengthening MSME export financing following the expiry of the Interest Equalisation Scheme. This initiative represents a significant reform in export finance, designed to enhance credit affordability and access for MSME exporters.
Key Features of NIRYAT PROTHSAHAN
The framework is structured on a two-pillar export finance reform:
Pillar 1: Interest Subvention Scheme
-
· Provides 2.75% direct interest relief on pre-shipment and post-shipment rupee export credit
-
· Reduces working capital costs and improves exporter liquidity
-
· Enables competitive export pricing
-
· Supports expansion and scale-up of MSME export operations
Pillar 2: Collateral Support & Credit Guarantee
-
· Introduces a Government-backed credit guarantee cover of up to 85%
-
· Addresses collateral-related constraints faced by MSMEs
-
· Encourages banks and financial institutions to provide enhanced export credit support
“CHEMEXCIL, in partnership with M/s Helpline Impex Pvt Ltd, is organising a webinar on ‘NIRYAT PROTHSAHAN – Export Credit Framework under FTP 2023’ to provide members with comprehensive insights into the scheme and its practical implementation.”
