IMPORTANT: RESTORATION OF FULL RoDTEP RATES – WITHDRAWAL OF 50% RESTRICTION

Dear Members,
Greetings from CHEMEXCIL.
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has issued Notification No. 66/2025-26 dated March 23, 2026, regarding the restoration of Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) rates.
This notification provides significant relief to the export community by restoring the benefit levels that were previously curtailed.
Key Highlights

RoDTEP benefits are now restored to the rates and value caps specified in Appendix 4R and Appendix 4RE as they existed on February 22, 2026.

The earlier 50% restriction on RoDTEP benefits, which was notified on February 23, 2026 vide Notification No.60/2025-26 has been officially withdrawn.

These restored rates are effective from February 23, 2026, and will remain applicable until March 31, 2026, for all eligible export products.
This notification supersedes the previous Notification No. 60/2025-26 (dated February 23, 2026) and its subsequent Corrigendum dated February 24,2026.
Members are encouraged to review their shipping bills and export documentation for the period starting February 23, 2026, to ensure that claims are aligned with the restored full rates and value caps.
