This is with reference to the ongoing India–Korea CEPA Upgrade Negotiations. The following products/tariff lines have been identified as Korea’s ask products under the negotiations:

·         Phenol (HS 29071110)

·         Para tertiary Butyl Phenol (HS 29071940)

·         Acetone (HS 29141100)

·         Acetic Acid (HS 29152100)

·         Other Polycarboxylic Acids (HS 29161290)

·         Other Carboxylic Acids (HS 29182990)

·         Other Organo Inorganic Compounds (HS 29319090)

·         Nitric Acid (HS 28080010)

·         Methyl Isobutyl Ketone (MIBK) (HS 29141300)

·         Bisphenol A (HS 29072300)

In this regard, members are urgently requested to provide their views/comments along with proper justification on the above products. You may also kindly provide the following details for each tariff line separately:

      1.      Overall Domestic Demand

2.      Current Production Capacity

3.      Actual Production

4.      Remarks/Concerns, if any, regarding tariff concessions under India-Korea CEPA

An Excel format for submission of inputs is attached herewith for necessary action.

Members are requested to kindly submit the duly filled inputs latest by 11:00 AM on 12th May 2026 to ad.del@chemexcil.in Copy to: ed@chemexcil.in

Considering the urgency and importance of the matter, you are requested to provide the inputs on priority.
