Submission of Inputs for NAC (Chemicals) Meeting Scheduled on 10th June 2026

Dear Members,
This is to inform that the NAC (Chemicals), Mumbai Customs, JNCH, is convening a follow-up meeting with Industry Associations on 10th June 2026 at 03:00 PM at the Conference Hall, 6th Floor, B Wing, JNCH, Nhava Sheva. The meeting will be conducted in hybrid mode under the chairmanship of the Convener, NAC (Chemicals), Chief Commissioner of Customs, Mumbai Customs, JNCH.
The meeting is being organized as a continuation of the discussions held during the NAC (Chemicals) meeting conducted on 19th May 2026 and aims to further deliberate on customs assessment-related matters pertaining to Chapters 28–49.
In this regard, members are requested to kindly share the following:
1. Specific issues/points related to customs assessment matters (including classification, valuation, assessment practices, procedural delays, etc.) for discussion with NAC (Chemicals).
2. Any representations, concerns, or follow-up points relating to agenda items discussed in previous NAC (Chemicals) meetings.
3. Relevant supporting documents/details, wherever applicable.

Kindly note that the number of participants is restricted to a maximum of two representatives per association.
