INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN WEBINAR ON
TRADE REMEDIAL ACTIONS FOR THE CHEMICAL INDUSTRY | 30TH JUNE 2026
|
Dear Member,
CHEMEXCIL is pleased to invite its members to participate in Webinar on Trade Remedial Actions for the Chemical Industry, aimed at creating awareness about the statutory trade protection mechanisms available to address increasing import pressures arising from global trade realignments and export diversion into India.
Ongoing geopolitical developments, trade restrictions in several markets, global overcapacity concerns, and evolving supply chains have led to significant shifts in international trade flows. Consequently, India is witnessing increasing import competition across various chemical segments, often at prices that may adversely affect domestic producers.
In such circumstances, trade remedial measures assume critical importance in ensuring fair competition, addressing unfair trade practices, and safeguarding the long-term competitiveness and sustainability of the domestic chemical industry. The session will provide practical insights into the available trade remedy framework and the process of availing statutory protection under India's trade laws.
