CHEMEXCIL in collaboration with Utkal Chamber of Commerce & Industry Limited, Bhubaneswar and in association with Directorate General of Foreign Trade(DGFT) under the Niryat Bandhu Scheme is pleased to invite you to participate in the Workshop on "Unlocking Export Potential of Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Speciality Chemicals, Cosmetics, Essential Oils & Downstream Manufacturing Sectors in Odisha", scheduled to be held on 11th July 2026 at 3:00 PM at Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Bhubaneswar.

Odisha has emerged as one of India's fastest-growing industrial destinations, with significant investments in petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, downstream manufacturing, cosmetics, essential oils and allied sectors. With increasing global demand, evolving trade dynamics and expanding market access opportunities, the State is well-positioned to strengthen its footprint in international markets.

The workshop aims to bring together industry leaders, exporters, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, policymakers and sector experts to discuss emerging export opportunities, global market trends, regulatory requirements, export competitiveness and strategies for enhancing Odisha's participation in global value chains.

Key highlights of the programme include:

  • Export opportunities across chemicals, petrochemicals, speciality chemicals, cosmetics, essential oils and allied sectors from Odisha
  • Emerging global market trends and business opportunities and leveraging Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and international trade developments.
  • Export procedures, regulatory requirements and quality standards and challenges faced by exporters and strategies for improving competitiveness and Government initiatives, incentives and support mechanisms for exporters
  • Session by the Fragrance & Flavour Development Centre (FFDC) on value addition, quality standards, processing technologies and export opportunities in the essential oils, fragrance and flavour sector.
  • Overview of Government export promotion initiatives, including the Export Promotion Mission and other schemes supporting exporters and MSMEs.
  • Interactive sessions with industry experts, policymakers and trade promotion organizations.

 

The workshop will provide participants with practical insights, market intelligence, policy updates and valuable networking opportunities to help businesses explore new export markets and expand their global presence.
