DGFT Notification No. 26/2026-27 dated 27th July, 2026 – Harmonisation of Schedule-II (Export Policy), ITC (HS) 2022 with amendments introduced vide Finance Act, 2026

Dear Member,
This is to inform members that the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, has issued Notification No. 26/2026-27 dated 27th July, 2026, notifying the harmonisation of Schedule-II (Export Policy), ITC (HS) 2022 with the amendments introduced under the Finance Act, 2026.
Key Highlights
· Schedule-II (Export Policy), ITC (HS) 2022 has been amended in accordance with the provisions of the Finance Act, 2026.
· Amendments have been carried out in the Section Notes, Chapter-wise Main Notes, Sub-heading Notes and Supplementary Notes.
· A revised list of ITC (HS) Codes has been issued, incorporating codes that have been introduced, deleted, amended, split or merged pursuant to the Finance Act, 2026.
The notification has come into force with immediate effect.
Further, for the convenience of our members, the ITC (HS) Codes falling under CHEMEXCIL's purview have been segregated from the revised Schedule-II (Export Policy), ITC (HS) 2022 and are enclosed herewith for easy reference. Members are requested to refer to the enclosed list while classifying their export products and undertaking export-related documentation.
