Amendment in Para 1.25(d) of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2023 – Criteria for Grant of One Star Export House Status

Dear Member,
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, has issued Notification No. 33/2026-27 dated 21.08.2026, amending Para 1.25(d) of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2023, with immediate effect.
As per the amended provision, for grant of Export House status, export performance would ordinarily be required in all the three preceding financial years.
However, a specific relaxation has been introduced for One Star Export House status:
For grant of One Star Export House status, export performance in any two out of the three preceding financial years shall be sufficient, subject to other provisions of Para 1.25 of FTP, 2023.
The amendment is effective immediately.
