Dear Member,

CHEMEXCIL is pleased to inform its members that the Directorate of Industries, Government of Gujarat, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Government of India, is organising a State-Level Workshop under the “Leveraging FTAs – Outreach Programme” on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

The workshop aims to enhance awareness among industry representatives and exporters regarding India’s Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and their effective utilisation to strengthen export competitiveness and expand access to international markets. The deliberations will cover opportunities arising from recently signed FTAs, preferential market access, identification of potential trade and investment opportunities, and Rules of Origin (RoO).

Participation in the workshop will enable members to gain a better understanding of how FTAs can be leveraged to access international markets, identify new export opportunities and address trade-related challenges. The insights gained will help participating organisations assess the relevance of FTAs to their export strategies and explore avenues for expanding their global business presence.

The programme details are as follows:

• Venue: Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Gandhinagar, Gujarat
