As you are aware, the use of pesticides in India is regulated by the Central board of Insecticide and Registration committee (CIBRC) under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. Recently, the CIBRC has revised the guidelines and data requirements for the registration of agrochemicals in India.
On the other hand, The European Union has finalized the amended regulations regarding biopesticides in (EU) Nos. 546/2011 and 1107/2009 (Annex II).
The new regulations comply with the ‘Farm to Fork strategy’ and the ‘European Green Deal’.
In order to give you an overview of the most relevant updates on the agrochemical compliance landscape in India and the EU, Chemexcil along with GPC Group is organizing an Agrochemical Compliance Outlook in India and EU on 31st Jan 2023 at 1600 hrs.
