Webinar on Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism - Navigating CBAM requirements for future competitiveness | 18th July 2025 | 3:00 PM
|
Dear Members,
Greetings from CHEMEXCIL!
The Council is pleased to inform you that a webinar on Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is being organized in collaboration with SGS India to create awareness among exporters on the evolving EU regulatory requirements and the necessary preparations for ensuring compliance.
The CBAM regulation, introduced by the European Union, will significantly impact exporters of carbon-intensive goods. With reporting obligations already in effect and full implementation approaching, it is critical for Indian exporters—especially those in the fertilizer and chemical sectors—to understand the regulatory framework, reporting requirements, and verification process.
