In the chemical industry, which involves high-value, regulated exports, timely realization and closure of export bills is crucial to ensure compliance with Indian foreign exchange laws and avoid regulatory penalties.
For chemical exporters, regularizing export bills and ensuring proper closure of shipping bills in EDPMS is vital for smooth operations and regulatory compliance. Proactive monitoring, system integration, and bank coordination are key to minimizing financial and operational risk.

|
Mr. Vasavada is a veteran ex-banker with over 35 years of experience in International Trade, Forex, and Export Finance.
He has served as Chief Dealer - Forex, Head of International Division (Bank of Rajasthan), and held senior positions at ICICI Bank, including Branch Head and Compliance Manager. Currently, he trains bankers and corporates on FEMA and RBI regulations and is associated with IIBF and FEDAI as a resource person.
