Dear Members,
We are delighted to inform that on demand of our members, we are organising a webinar on “Filing of Annual RODTEP Return” on Thursday, 23rd January 2025 from 11 am – 12 pm.
As you may be aware, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), vide Public Notice No. 27/ 2024-25 dated 23 October 2024, has mandated the filling of Annual Return for exporters claiming the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (‘RoDTEP’) benefit, above a specified amount.
The requirement of ARR has been introduced with an intent to assess the nature of inputs used in export production and amount of actual taxes and duties incurred thereon.
The exporter claiming RODTEP benefits shall be required to file an Annual RODTEP Return (ARR) as per the format given under the Appendix-4RR of Handbook of Procedures 2023.
The ARR for the RODTEP claims filed in a particular financial year shall be filed on DGFT Portal by 31st March of the next financial year i.e. RODTEP claims information for FY 2023-24 shall be required to be filed by 31.03.2025
