Webinar on Japanese Chemical Regulations

| 14th August 2025 | 4:00 - 5:00 pm IST

Dear Members,

Japan enforces a comprehensive and multi-law approach to regulate chemicals, in contrast to single-framework systems like the EU-REACH. The country’s regulatory landscape ensures the protection of human health and the environment through various interconnected laws that govern chemical usage, risk management, and reporting obligations.

Hence, understanding how these laws interact is crucial for ensuring compliance and avoiding regulatory penalties.

In view of the above, CHEMEXCIL in association with Global Product Compliance (GPC) group is organizing an informative webinar on the topic "Japanese Chemical Regulations" on August 14, 2025, which will provide valuable insights into the key compliance requirements under various Japanese chemical safety laws.

This session will focus on major regulations such as the Chemical Substances Control Law (CSCL) and the Industrial Safety and Health Law (ISHL) and provide clarity on notification procedures, annual reporting requirements, and chemical inventory assessments.
