On 21 November 2025, the Ministry of Labour & Employment notified the enforcement of the following four major labour codes:

Code on Wages, 2019
-
Industrial Relations Code, 2020
-
Code on Social Security, 2020
-
Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020
These Codes collectively replace 29 Central Labour Laws, signalling a comprehensive transformation in compliance requirements for Indian industries.
