Dear Members,
Ukraine has recently adopted a comprehensive regulatory framework for chemical safety known as UA REACH, formally titled Technical Regulations on the Safety of Chemical Products. These regulations came into force on 26th January, 2025, following the adoption of Resolution No. 847 by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The UA REACH framework is closely modelled on the European Union’s REACH regulation and introduces mandatory registration, labelling, SDS, and compliance obligations for companies placing chemical substances or mixtures on the Ukrainian market.
Given Ukraine's strategic importance as an emerging market in Eastern Europe and its alignment with EU trade practices, Indian chemical exporters intending to enter or continue exports to Ukraine must understand and comply with UA REACH to avoid enforcement actions, market restrictions, or supply chain disruptions.
Hence, to provide an essential platform for industry stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of this new regulation, CHEMEXCIL in collaboration with Global product Compliance (GPC) is organising a webinar on “Understanding UA REACH: Navigating Ukraine’s New Chemical Safety Regulations” on Thursday, 10th July 2025 from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm IST.
