Duty Drawback-

SUBJECT:-Clarification allowing higher Rate of Duty Drawback on Self Certification, Amendment in
Notification no. 131/2016-Customs (N.T.) dated 31.10.2016 relating to AIRs of duty drawback

Dear Members,

This is in continuation of our earlier circular dated 4th July 2017 regardingTransitional provisions related
to All Industry Rates of Duty Drawback and other Drawback related changes.

However, there have been concerns regarding applicability of Composite rate or customs portion of
DBK, declaration certificate etc.

In this regard, CBEC has issued following Important circular/ Notifications regarding DBK:

32/2017 27-07-2017 F. No. 609/64/2017-DBK Clarification regarding exports under claim for
drawback in the GST scenario.
