Dear Members,
This has reference to our proposed participation in China Interdye 2024 Exhibition dated 17th -19th April, 2024, in Shanghai, China. We wish to inform you about the important information regarding stall bookings procedure.
As communicated earlier via our email no. EPC/LIC/China Interdye 2024-25 dated 06 th February 2024, regarding Date & Time of Actual Stall Booking Procedure for China Interdye 2024 Exhibition .
Now, it gives us immense pleasure to inform you that after the successful physical participation at the CHINA INTERDYE 2023 exhibition at Shanghai, China and various online participations, the Council is once again organising the INDIA PAVILION at the CHINA INTERDYE 2024 exhibition which will be held from 17th -19th April, 2024 at Shanghai, China.
The objective is to showcase Quality Indian Products to the prospective buyers with the overall objective to enhance India’s exports in this region.

About The Exhibition:
China Interdye is a premier international show, conducted annually, for the Dyes and Dye Intermediates, Pigments and Textile Chemical industry. It is the perfect meeting point for the exhibitors to reach the global attendees and the perfect medium to know about the recent developments made in these industries. The exhibition is spread over an area of around 50,000 sq. m.
The last edition of this exhibition was held from 26th -28th July 2023 and enjoyed participation from 600 domestic and overseas exhibitors from 15 countries and regions wherein there was participation from more than 8000 exhibitor representatives. This exhibition was attended by about 16,986 visitors from 59 countries and region. There were 15 high quality seminars and professional events were organised.

Stall Amenities – Shell Scheme
|
Space, Side Walls, Carpeted floor, fascia board with company name, one reception desk with one chair, one electrical socket, two spot lights per stand. Round table with two chairs, dustbin

Electricity
|
Council will provide electricity only for the Shell Scheme Stalls – 9sq mt.
Raw space holders have to directly book the electricity with the organisers in China.

MAI Subsidy (Airfare / Stall Charges):-
MAI Grant
-
The event is proposed to be covered under the Market Access Initiative (MAI) scheme of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India for the year 2024-2025.

MAI grant in terms of stall charges and Airfare will be available only to eligible 50 no. of exhibitors on a first come (Payment) first served (Allocation) basis

The subsidized stall/space charges will be reimbursed only after approval of the event under the MAI scheme by the Dept of Commerce, Govt. of India.

Currently the approval for this event under the MAI scheme of DOC is under process
-

The amount of subsidy will be informed to members/reimbursed only after approval and receipt of funds from Dept. of Commerce

Eligible members will get the subsidized stall/space charges for a maximum area of 9 sq. mt. (Even though they book a bigger stall size)

Companies that have participated THRICE in this fare will not be eligible for subsidized stall rates/reimbursement of airfare
Air fare
-
Companies who participated in three events through CHEMEXCIL in the same financial year (2024-2025) under the MAI scheme will not be eligible for MAI grant.
-
Reimbursement of airfare (is only eligible for economy class) to exporting companies (Exhibiting Companies) with an f.o.b. value of exports below Rs. 50 crore in the preceding financial year (2023-24).
· Reimbursement of airfare to the companies having nil exports/ start-ups/ new exporters may be allowed up to 10% of the total number of participants, subject to the following conditions:
a) The amount of airfare reimbursable will be 50% of the economy fare, subject to market-wise ceilings prescribed in the Scheme guidelines,
b) The exporter has been active in the domestic market and has at least annual turnover of ?50.00 lakh in the preceding financial year.

Airfare will be permissible only to the regular Director / Partner/Proprietor or a regular officer of the company in a senior managerial position.

Air fare Claim forms duly filled in and complete in all respects must be submitted to the council within 45 days from end of the event i.e on or before 3rd June 2024. If not submitted, airfare will not be reimbursed to those Member companies.

The Airfare Reimbursement will be done after the finalization of Accounts in the Ministry & Subject to receipt of funds from the Department.

GENERAL
-
A company having DEL STATUS (as per DGFT) is not eligible for participation under the MAI scheme.

Once the event is over exhibitors must submit the outcome report within 5 days format will be provided by Chemexcil on-site or by email.

Chemexcil will issue a visa recommendation letter as soon as you complete and submit the payment details.

In case of a shortage of participation no. of exhibitors, the council will not participate in the exhibition hence before booking air tickets and hotel accommodation consult the council.

One Standard Stall (9 sq.mt.) only on a subsidized rate for one member exporter, for any additional stall requirement the charges applicable will be non-subsidized

· Extra space/stall will be allocated only after allotment of Chemexcil pavilion after discussing with organizer.
Terms of Payment :-
Ø 100% Advance Strictly by Online Mode - RTGS/ NEFT/IMPS
Ø Cheques / DD are not allowed.

Ø If payment is done in any other account of CHEMEXCIL then it won’t be considered for stall allotment.

Stall Booking Procedure:-
Interested Members are requested to send their stall no preferences (Maximum 3) in the below format by email to sandeep@chemexcil.in and make the payment for the desired stall area.
Ø Please note that sending preferences by email and making payment to Council’s account doesn’t guarantee that confirmed stall will be allotted to that member-exporter.
Ø There is high demand for this show but the stalls availability is less as compared to the demand.
Ø The stall allotment will be done strictly on First Come First Serve basis.
Ø Stall allotment is at the discretion of the Management of the Council.

Stall Cancellation will be as per Council’s Policy: -
In case of any reason of cancellation from members, stall charges will be reimbursed as per the Committee of Administration decision as follows:
a) If any member wants to cancel their participation after making the payment due to unforeseen circumstances and request for refund of payment made before remitting the payment to the organizer by the Council, the Council may refund their payment after deducting 10% of the stall charges subject to getting another confirmed member-participant for such cancelled stall.
b) Once we release the payment to the Organizer and thereafter any member wants to cancel their participation and requests for refund of the stall charges, No refund will be given. However, if Chemexcil gets any other confirmed member-participant for such cancelled stall, after deducting 10% administrative cost, Council may consider refunding 90% of the stall charges paid by the member.
c) If any member could not participate in the event after making the payment and requests for refund of the stall charges made, there will be no refund in such cases.
