DGFT - Amendments in import policy condition under chapter 29 of ITC (HS) 2022 Schedule-I

Dear Members,
The O/o Directorate General of Foreign Trade, New Delhi has issued Notification No. 64/2015-20 dated 31st March 2023, regarding Amendments in import policy condition under chapter 29 of ITC (HS) 2022 Schedule-I (Import Policy).
As per the same we understand that Import of Iso Propyl Alcohol (IPA) HS Code 29051220 shall be allowed subject to country wise quantitative restrictions for a period of one year only. (Effective from 1st April 2023) unless notified otherwise subject to a valid registration certificate issued by DGFT.
The country wise quantitative restrictions for import of IPA is mentioned in attached notification.
Member-exporters (Importing Isopropyl Alcohol) are requested to take note and do the needful accordingly.
