Inputs for proposed trade agreements with EU (ex-UK) and UK separately

Dear Members,
We would like to inform you that FT (Europe-I) Division, Department of Commerce had recently held a stakeholder consultation meeting in New Delhi on 27th December, 2019, with the concerned Export Promotion Councils/ Trade bodies for any proposed trade agreements with EU (ex-UK) and UK separately in anticipation of resumption of EU (ex-UK) negotiations & the possibility of separate discussions with UK post Brexit.
In continuation to these discussions, we have received communication from FT(Europe-I) Division, Department of Commerce wherein they have provided a copy of the presentation, trade data sheet & a questionnaire for reference of the members.
Members are therefore requested to kindly peruse the same and provide their inputs on the Chemicals sector-specific tariff lines in the format provided herewith. You may also highlight issues faced (including GSP, REACH etc) concerning your items of interest.
Your inputs be sent to us latest by 03/01/2020 on e-mail ids ed@chemexcil.gov.in, deepak.gupta@chemexcil.gov.in and rodelhi@chemexcil.gov.in so that we can put-forth your comments to DoC for examination/ further deliberations.
