We are pleased to inform you that CHEMEXCIL is partnering as a Knowledge Partner with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Centre for WTO Studies, IIFT, for a Capacity Building Workshop on:
"Emerging Opportunities from Trade Agreements – Industry Perspective"
Date: Tuesday, 24th June 2025
Venue: Hotel Clarks Amer, Jaipur
The session aims to focus on the emerging opportunities from India's Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and how Indian industry can leverage them for global competitiveness and export growth.
India’s FTAs with ASEAN, Japan, Korea, Mauritius, UAE, Australia, EFTA, and the recently signed UK agreement, along with ongoing negotiations with the EU and the US, offer significant potential across goods, services, investment, government procurement, and digital trade.
We encourage you to participate in this important event and gain insights into:
· Fundamentals of FTAs (Tariffs, Non-Tariff Barriers, Rules of Origin, Customs Procedures)
· Strategies for utilizing FTAs in services and investments
· Accessing FTA-related tools, documents, and compliance techniques
· Enhancing SME participation in global trade
· Importance of industry feedback for shaping future trade policy
Sectors relevant to Rajasthan such as chemicals, textiles, gems & jewellery, handicrafts, engineering goods, marbles & tiles, IT/ITeS, logistics, tourism, and professional services will be discussed.
