Inviting Pre-Budget Proposals for the year 2024-25: Regarding

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

This has reference to our earlier circular no. EPC/LIC/PRE_BUDGET_2024-25 dated 12 September 2023 and 23rd March 2024 (https://chemexcil.in/circulars/v.-imp-:--inviting-pre-budget-proposals-for-the-year-2024-25/5960/7ebc5145eeb71d92a52e4f97b41e51ee.html) seeking pre budget proposals for the year 2024-25.

As you are aware Pre-budget proposals are on hold due to the vote on account budget. In view of this CHEMEXCIL is in receipt of communication from Department informing that the Pre-Budget Proposals for the year 2024-2025 are likely to be presented in July-2024 this year. 

The format of the submission can be viewed in attached file or in our previous circular.

The following points may be kept in mind while submitting the proposals
1.     The pre-budget proposals should be complete in all respects, properly categorized and HS Codes, wherever applicable, for each commodity must be provided.
2.     Justification given in Favour of the proposal shall be restricted to 300 words and Annexures should be used, if necessary.
3.     Proposals which are most crucial may categorized as 'Top Priority' and 'Priority'.
4.     Issues discussed year after year but never agreed to, may not be raised again. 
5.     Proposals, which are related to other Ministries/Departments need not to be considered.
Members are requested to send the pre Budget proposals on or before 15th June 2024 at pw@chemexcil.in with copy to dg@chemexcil.in for onward submission.
