We are happy to inform you that as a part of export promotional measure, the Council is participating in 14th China International Chemical Fair to be held on 16th – 18th September, 2015 at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre, Shanghai, China.
China is the world's fastest-growing major economy with growth rates averaging 10% and the second largest economy by nominal GDP. China is a global hub for manufacturing and is the largest manufacturing economy in the world as well as the world's fastest growing consumer market and second largest importer of goods.
China is also one of the world’s top exporters and export growth has continued to be a major component supporting China's rapid economic growth. To increase exports, China pursued policies which attracted huge amounts of foreign investments.
China has over 160 cities with a population of over one million including the seven megacities. Shanghai is the largest industrial city in China and often regarded as the financial and trade hub in mainland China. Shanghai also hosts the largest share market in the mainland China.
India-China bilateral trade for the year 2013-2014 stood at US$ 65.9 billion. India’s exports to China were US$ 14.82 billion whereas China’s exports were US$ 51.03 billion, resulting in a trade deficit of US$ 36.21 billion.
Economic ties between China and India will play a large role in one of the most important bilateral relationships in the world by 2020. Bilateral trade has already surged from under $3 billion in 2000 to nearly $65 billion in 2014. Though foreign direct investment (FDI) between China and India trails trade growth, it too will likely surge in the years to come.
The Commodity wise Export Performance of the items coming under the purview of CHEMEXCIL to China for the years 2012-13, 2013-14 & 2014-15 is as under:-

Admissibility of MDA for the above events:
-
Since China come under the General Area, member-exporters who are participating in the above Exhibition are eligible to get MDA towards stall charges of the Exhibition to the tune of Rs.1,50,000/- or actual.

The firm should be a member of the Council at least for a period of 12 months.

Export performance of the firm in immediate preceding year should not be more than Rs. 30 crs. Even if there are no exports, the participants are eligible for MDA.

The firm should submit their export returns regularly to the Council.

Please note that the firm can avail only one MDA at a time in a financial year, under the General Area.

The firm should also register their tour 14 days in advance from the date of departure by submitting their MDA application, where the date of receipt of application by the Council and the date of departure would not be considered for counting 14 days. Format of MDA application form is attached herewith for your doing the needful.
Policy for Refund of Stall in abroad.

If any member wants to cancel their participation after making the payment due to unforeseen circumstances and request for refund of payment made before remitting the payment to the organizer by the Council, we may refund their payment after deducting 10% of the stall charges.

Once we released the payment to the Organizer and thereafter any member wants to cancel their participation and request for refund of the stall charges, then we may consider full refund of the stall charges, only if we get any other confirmed member-participant for such cancelled stall.

If any member could not participate in the event after making the payment and request for refund of the stall charges made, there will be no refund in such cases.

In the case of Delegations/Buyer-Seller Meet being organized by the Council, once the concerned firm registered their name for participation and made payment towards the same to the Council, request for refund of the same cannot be considered at any cost.
