Dear Members,

You might recall that Hon'ble Finance Minister had announced during Budget presentation that a further review of existing Customs exemption notifications would be undertaken through extensive consultations.

In this context, CBIC has uploaded a message on its site whereby suggestions are invited for review of Customs exemption notifications at the MyGov Innovate portal.

In this context, certain Customs exemptions have been identified for purpose of further review (listed below).

Interested member-exporters are requested to take note and submit their suggestions /pertinent views on the subject latest by 10th August 2021 for consideration by the Government.

Timeline : 10th August 2021

Submissions made may also be shared with the council on email id's: dg@chemexcil.in and pw@chemexcil.in for records/ further deliberations, when required.
