We would like to inform you that  the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC)  has  recently issued  important circulars  explaining the  Procedure for disposal of un-claimed/un-cleared cargo under section 48 of the Customs Act,1962, lying with the custodians     &  also Procedure for movement of goods under TIR Carnets, respectively. 

 

Relevant members are requested to take note of the same  and do the needful accordingly as per the procedure explained in the CBIC circulars.
